Amanda is a valued team member, well-loved by customers for her patience and calm, reassuring presence. She takes the time to understand each customer’s unique needs and thoughtfully recommends products that suit both their preferences and budget - all without making them feel rushed or pressured.

Thanks to her attentive and personalized approach, shoppers consistently enjoy a comfortable, rewarding experience and find great value in their purchases.

Amanda reflects on her win:

Dado joined Hot Tomato in October 2022, and this award is a well-deserved recognition of his dedicated two years with the casual Western eatery. Starting as a management trainee, his hard work and commitment quickly earned him a promotion to manager in 2023.

This marks the second time Dado has been recognized for his exceptional customer service - a level of service he consistently delivers while at work. Known for his warm and friendly demeanor and meticulous attention to detail, Dado never fails to make customers feel welcome and well taken care of.

Dado reflects on his win:                                            

“Winning the service award for the second time around is truly an honour. I extend my sincere gratitude to Jurong Point's management for this esteemed recognition, and to my valued customers who have demonstrated their appreciation and voted for me - thank you!

I dedicate this award to my exceptional team, both service and kitchen staff, with whom I have collaborated tirelessly. Their passion for our craft and commitment to excellence drive us forward. Without their support and collective effort, I wouldn’t be in this position. Thank you so much.”

 

Receiving the highest number of votes, Joanne - a dedicated member of the McDonald’s team for the past
28 years, consistently demonstrates patience along with a friendly and approachable demeanor. She ensures that every customer feels welcome and comfortable, even while waiting for their food.

Despite managing multiple customers simultaneously, Joanne maintains an approachable and attentive presence. She offers tailored assistance, suggesting menu options to suit individual dietary needs and preferences. Her genuine and consistent attentiveness makes every interaction meaningful.

Additionally, Joanne effectively introduces menu items, promotions and helps customers navigate the McDonald’s app to access offers and to accumulate points. Joanne’s thoughtful service greatly enhances the overall customer experience at McDonald’s.

Shyh Yao is recognised for his dedication, professionalism, and consistent commitment to customer satisfaction at OPPO. Whether assisting with product guidance or troubleshooting, he patiently supports customers with a calm and approachable manner - even during busy periods.

His in-depth knowledge of OPPO devices, paired with his friendly demeanor, has made him a trusted and reliable presence for shoppers. He ensures every customer receives the attention they need, helping them feel confident.

Shyh Yao speaks of his win:

Soo Kim from SK Jewellery stands out as a shining example of good customer service. She has consistently impressed customers with her professionalism, and sincere dedication to each interaction.

Whether assisting someone on their first jewellery purchase or guiding a returning customer to a meaningful gift, Soo Kim goes beyond to ensure the experience is memorable. Customers commend her for her attentiveness, product knowledge, and heartfelt service.

🎉 Our 2024 Winners!

Dado has been working at Hot Tomato since October 2022, and this award is a well-deserved recognition for his two years of service with the casual Western eatery. Starting as a management trainee, he quickly demonstrated his hard work and dedication, earning a promotion to manager in 2023.

“I am truly honoured and grateful for this award. Although I am so thankful for this recognition, I must admit it is really a team effort. Without my teammates at Jurong Point’s Hot Tomato, I wouldn't be able to do what I do. Getting this award motivates me to work even harder.

I love my customers. The work may be challenging, but in the right store with the right management, your co-workers feel like family. Working at Jurong Point’s Hot Tomato, I'm exposed to new challenges regularly, which help me develop both professionally and personally.”

Hassan has been working at ANTA, a sportswear brand at
Jurong Point for over a year. Keen to pursue a career in sports retail, he jumped at the opportunity to join ANTA as a senior sales associate when the brand opened in Singapore.

This is the first time Hassan has received recognition for his excellent customer service. His expertise in sports retail, combined with his dedication to providing excellent service, has earned him this award.

Hassan speaks of his win:

“I feel honoured to be one of the winning nominees and am glad to play my part in my customers' shopping experience.

Jurong Point offers a wide range of options when it comes to the daily requirements and needs of shoppers. Being able to work in the heartlands, attending to mostly heartlanders, I find it extremely easy to relate to my customers as we share many things in common. It is also a very good opportunity for me to build and nurture rapport and relationships in my line of work.”

Jeffy has been working as a Well-being Sales Advisor at OSIM’s Jurong Point outlet for a year. Attracted to OSIM's focus on employee development and customer service, Jeffy quickly embraced his role and enjoys interacting with customers while learning about the business operations.

This is not the first time Jeffy has received recognition for his excellent customer service. He is always approachable, patient, and eager to assist customers, leveraging his deep knowledge of the products to provide tailored recommendations.

Jeffy speaks of his win:

“Although it’s not my first award, this one holds significant meaning, not just for me, but also for my OSIM Jurong Point colleagues and the overall team spirit. Receiving the Jurong Point Service Star Award makes me feel incredibly proud. It’s a recognition of the hard work put in by all of us. While I have received other awards, this one resonates deeply because it highlights the collective effort of our team towards providing excellent service.

Firstly, the diverse customer base at Jurong Point allows me to meet different people every day. This interaction not only helps me learn about different cultures and their lifestyle habits but also gives me the opportunity to provide personalised service, creating memorable shopping experiences for each customer.

Secondly, I really appreciate the teamwork within our team at OSIM Jurong Point. My colleagues are friendly and supportive, and we all work together to create a positive and uplifting work environment.

Lastly, I enjoy the vibrancy and atmosphere of Jurong Point mall. Whether it's the festive decorations or special events organised by the mall, it adds a dash of fun and freshness to our environment. Seeing customers enjoying their shopping experience here makes me feel that my work is meaningful.”

Shafie may have only been working at the Jurong Point outlet of home electronics brand Prism+ for just eight months as a retail sales associate, but he has already made a positive impression on customers. This is in part due to his passion for customer service and enjoyment of interacting with people.

This is th first time Shafie has received recognition for his excellent customer service.

Shafie speaks of his win:

“I felt surprised, and of course, delighted to be awarded. It is an honour to receive such a prestigious award from the Jurong Point Mall Management – but of course, it is a team effort with my fellow Prism+ colleagues.

Working at Jurong Point is convenient, as there's a lot of food and shop options for me to choose from. Working with my ‘solid’ teammates from Prism+ is also a joy!”

Ivy has been working at shoe shop SHINE’s Jurong Point outlet for one and a half years, starting as a sales assistant to pursue her interest in sales.

This is the first time Ivy has received recognition for her excellent customer service. Her friendly demeanour, patience, and willingness to assist customers enhanced their shopping experiences                                                

Ivy says of her win:

“I feel very happy and honoured to be one of Jurong Point’s Service Star awardees. What I love most about working here in SHINE Jurong Point is communicating with customers, and providing them with professional suggestions on female footwear.”
